Campaign finance reports for statewide, legislative and multi-county judicial candidates in the 2000 primary and general elections can be viewed on-line. Also, state political action committee reports can now be viewed on-line. The law requires reports be posted within 45 days, but we are trying to post the reports within one to two days after they are filed with the Secretary of State's office, except as described in the notice above. Reports for federal candidates are available on-line at the Federal Election Commission web site. Three federal offices will be on the ballot in West Virginia this year: U.S. President, one U.S. Senate seat, and three seats for U.S. House of Representatives. Federal candidates do not file on the same schedule as West Virginia candidates. You can get this information on the FEC web site at www.fec.gov. Search for Reports
