Official parties may fill ballot vacancies by appointment, and official parties that do not conduct a primary election fill the ballot by convention. Minor parties and independent candidates may seek nomination by petition. Candidates may file as official write-ins for the Primary Election only for State Executive Committee and for any office for the general election. Candidates who have withdrawn are NOT excluded from the results. See Official Withdrawals.
