Official Withdrawals of Candidates for the 2008 Election

A candidate may withdraw and prevent having his or her name printed on the ballot by submitting a signed and notarized letter of withdrawal to the filing officer no later than close of business on February 12, 2008.  Later withdrawals do not affect the ballot or create a ballot vacancy except in certain extenuating circumstances.  See Ballot Vacancies for more information.
